Arctic Reservations

Nathan began developing software for outdoor adventure companies following a rafting trip on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River with Echo River Trips in 2004, after which he created a simple guest portal for sharing contact information and photos. While working with Echo, he realized that there was a need for a more comprehensive system and launched Arctic Reservations. Applying his passion for design and technology, Arctic Reservations has since grown into a full-fledged reservation, customer and invoicing management solution embraced by many outfitters and supported a dedicated, full-time staff.

Nathan recently completed his Masters Degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he did research on the role of technology in the business world as a means to increase both efficiency and effectiveness. Applying his research, Nathan continues to innovate and refine Arctic Reservations inspired by feedback from the community of users. His vision is that Arctic Reservations will remain the most intuitive and powerful solution for outdoor adventure companies, enabling outfitters to provide great experiences.

Ronda is combining her love of the outdoors with her talent for enhancing the capacity of small and medium-sized businesses in her work at Arctic Reservations. Her focus is on understanding the needs of clients and developing strategies and products that realize a business’s potential. She sees that Arctic Reservations can simplify many of the routine business and administrative processes so that the business owners can focus on their passion and create unforgettable experiences for their clients. Ronda has a background in international development and has worked with community-based organizations in Tanzania and South Africa, focusing on management and revenue generation. She has climbed on the shoulders of Mt. Kilimanjaro, spied humpback whales breaching off the tip of Africa, kayaked in the San Juans, gone white-water rafting in British Colombia, rock-climbing in South Africa, and sky-diving in Snohomish, Washington. She is concurrently pursuing a doctorate in management and incorporates innovative management techniques into Arctic Reservations products.
